
This non-accredited training course is targeted both for managers and for members of the public who wish to improve their
understanding of Mental Health, how to create a safer environment by addressing psychological hazards, learn
basic skills to de-escalate heightened situations and use tools to effectively notice, clarify and refer people
experiencing mental ill-health or diagnosed mental illnesses to appropriate services. We also cover how to debrief
and plan your owns self-care following the support and care you provided.
