The St John Christmas Home Lottery
St John Ambulance ACT continues to play a vital role in supporting the Canberra community, thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the dedication of our volunteers. Each year, they provide critical care to more than 1,500 patients outside of the hospital system. This not only delivers timely assistance where it’s needed most but also helps ease the burden on our emergency departments.
In addition to front line care, our volunteers contribute over 13,000 hours of service annually, while our expert trainers equip more than 9,000 Canberrans with essential first aid skills, empowering everyday people to act confidently in emergencies. This life-saving work is only possible through the ongoing support of the community.
One of the ways the community can get involved is through the St John Christmas Home Lottery, which is back for another exciting year. Since its inception, the lottery has raised vital funds for St John’s services and given away over $50 million in prizes to more than 180,000 winners.
This year’s Grand Prize offers the winner a choice of one of four spectacular $5 million waterside home packages, including:
- A 3-level beachfront home on the Esplanade in Semaphore, Adelaide
- A luxury apartment in The Rocks, Sydney, near the Opera House
- A 4-storey townhouse on the Yarra River in Melbourne, overlooking Marvel Stadium
- An oceanfront home in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, right on the Esplanade
There are also over 10,000 additional prizes to be won, including a $536,000 McLaren supercar.
