All students enrolling in nationally recognised training must obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to link training records and issue certificates. To create your free USI, visit: www.usi.gov.au.
Frequently asked questions
The minimum age to attend a course without an adult is 14 years, and children between 10 years and 13 years of age can attend accompanied by an adult. There is no maximum age.
Comfortable, casual clothing is recommended in order to perform practical training activities such as bending, kneeling and lying on the floor.

You will need to bring your photo ID and lunch with you on the day of your course.
Coffee, tea and water are provided and we have a fridge and microwaves available for you to use.
Yes. First Aid qualifications issued by a Registered Training Organisation are recognised. The qualification must be presented in person or digitally to St John ACT (coursebookings@stjohnact.org.au) at enrolment, or least 2 business days prior to course commencement.
Students will receive their Statement of Attainment or Certificate of Attendance upon successful completion of their course, once their fees are paid and there is validated USI on file.
We aim to have certificates issued within 48 hours of your training, however, it may take 7-10 days depending on the location of your training. The certificates will be issued within 30 calendar days following successful completion of the assessment of the course.
No, if you can demonstrate competency during the assessment, you can enrol in a recertification course.
Competency-based training allows students to make several attempts at each element of the performance criteria. You will be supported by your trainer with any additional learning, and given opportunities to re-attempt the assessment. If you are then assessed as not yet competent, you will need to repeat the course or subject, at your own expense, to gain the competency.
