Project Resilience

St John Ambulance Australia (ACT)’s Project Resilience is aimed at our older generation. We deliver Project Resilience free of cost because we strive to build resilience in our local communities by providing free, basic first aid training to seniors and active retirees in the ACT.

Training Seniors, Saving Lives

Project Resilience is a free-of-charge introductory first aid education session for senior citizens and active retirees in the ACT.

Our volunteer trainers conduct a 90-minute training session on the following essential areas of first aid:

  • Responding to an emergency
  • DRSABCD
  • Recovery Position
  • Choking
  • Stroke
  • Heart Attack
  • Falls

Custom sessions can be facilitated on request.

At St John Ambulance, we want everyone to be confident in their ability to act in an emergency and to look after themselves and those around them.

If you would like to enrol a group to receive a Project Resilience presentation, please get in touch with us by completing the Community Education Request Form.

We look forward to helping you and your community develop the skills to respond confidently in times of need.

Please note this session is not an accredited course, it is a community safety and well-being initiative. Participants will not receive any formal qualifications for attendance.
